The Early Morning kachina, carved in wood and hand-painted by Milton Howard, a master kachina carver born in Tuba City, Arizona, on the Navajo-Hopi reservation. The dancer wears a wide fan of black-tipped feathers and a green ruff at the chin, carrying a bell in one hand and a green bough in the other as he steps across a base carved as a miniature pueblo village.
Stands 9.5″ tall including the base.
