Frederic Remington ‘Bronco Buster’ Bronze Sculpture

Bronco Buster Sculpture by Frederic Remington was originally conceived in 1895. “The Bronco Buster” was Frederic Remington’s first bronze sculpture. It has since come to symbolize all that is triumphant and heroic of the American West. The Bronco Buster reflects Remington’s attention to detail, along with his ingenious rendering of intense movement combined with a delicate sense of balance. A casting of Remington’s The Bronco Buster sculpture has resided in The White House since Theodore Roosevelt’s presidency. Due to it’s design, it makes a wonderful centerpiece and is impressive when viewed from any angle.

This statue is reproduced in the purest American bronze, cast by the superior lost wax process, finished in a bronze patina like the original and then hand-rubbed to bring out detail and highlights. The statue is then mounted on a fine marble base with an etched brass name plate. Remington’s signature is on the bronze. The incredible detail of this sculpture is a Remington master works.
